As we’re sure everyone is aware, the COVID19 pandemic has changed many things for many people. As a fabric shop and haberdashery we have also had to take measures to make sure that we operate safely during these uncertain times.


We are open to the public Monday 2nd November and Tuesday 3rd November. We will be closed as a non essential shop during the National Lockdown until at least 2nd December. 

We are currently not running our click and collect service but we may reopen this service in the coming weeks but we are not guaranteeing this.

You can shop with us in 2 ways: online or in store. Not all of our products are live on our website but please feel free to email us: if you’re looking for something that you cannot find.

In store shoppers will need to take note of the social distancing measures we have in place.

We have a ticketing system much like you find in shoe shops and deli counters. The ticket dispenser is next to our front door. Please take a ticket per individual (including children) and wait for your number to appear on the display in our downstairs window.

We are currently allowing 4 people in the shop but please be mindful that there is only 1 member of staff on and 1 cutting table. We’re not as quick as Tesco I’m afraid as fabric cutting takes time.

On entering the shop, please use alcohol gel to disinfect your hands. You must wear a face covering which covers your mouth and nose at all times. Please do not take this off to talk while you are in the shop. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering please let us know on entry so that we can make others aware. If you are vulnerable, please let us know on entry as we are happy to “hold the door” for you to shop safely. Face shields are not acceptable as face coverings without a cover over your mouth and nose. Please note that this is now law and we will refuse service if those laws are not adhered to. We of course have spare disposable face coverings for a small charge if your forget yours. For more information on face coverings please see the government’s guidance.

We ask you to keep handling products to a minimum and to be aware that we cannot disinfect fabrics. Where possible please pay by card/contactless payment.

At all times maintain social distancing while in the shop from other customers and staff members.

Online shoppers:

We are operating as usual online. Please note that our catalogue of products are not all online but we are constantly working on this. We ship/deliver orders on Wednesdays and Fridays. Get your order in by 4pm on those days to beat the shipping deadline.

We also offer collection in store. Please note that this is for our county’s postal code as well as neighbouring county’s postal codes only. You will receive an email notification of when your order is ready to pick up. Please do not come to the shop to collect until you receive that email. Bring your order number to the shop.
