Using your choice of: the Closet Case Ginger Jeans (skinny fit) or Morgan Jeans (boyfriend style), Cashmerette Ames Jeans (tailored) you will learn how to make yourself a gorgeous pair of denim jeans.
The Ginger Jeans are designed for stretch denim can be made as either a comfortable low rise jean with narrow stovepipe legs or a high-waisted jean with skinny legs and a tummy-slimming pocket stay. The Morgan, slim boyfriend jeans are designed for non-stretch & selvedge denim. The Morgan is a mid-rise jean that fits snugly through the hip but relaxes and conforms to your curves with a little wear. The Ames jeans are tailored jeans, with the option to alter hip shape between Pear and Apple as well as being especially sized for curvy ladies.

You will learn
- How to construct the jeans to your size and make simple fitting alterations
- How to use decorative topstitching in the construction of the jeans
- How to make a traditional five pocket construction
- How to attach jean patch pockets
- How to make a jean fly front with buttons or a zip (depending on pattern)
- How to make a contoured waistband
This workshop is suitable for those who have already made intermediate to advanced garments before and are competent at using sewing patterns and a sewing machine. Depending on your past level of experience and your choice of pattern, you may not completely finish the project in the two sessions.
Please note this is a 2 day class, no refunds will be given if a student only attends 1 day.

Bring along your own machine or use one of ours.
Your sewing machine must either be less than 1 year old or have a valid PAT testing sticker/certificate. Don’t worry we can PAT test your machine on site and this needs to be done before the class commences. If you do not have a sewing machine to bring or a basic sewing kit you can rent one from us for the class. Please tick the options below if you need to do so. Sewing machine hire is £5.00 session. Sewing Kit hire is £3.00 per session.
This class has 4 places only and will only run if 50% capacity is filled.
